Solar Transformer

Up To 12.5 MVA; Voltage Up To 33kV. CG developed Inverters duty transformers for solar applications, which operate at the fundamental frequency of an alternating system.

These are designed for one or more output windings connected to the inverters load. Owing to multiple outputs, multiple inverters paralleled to the PV arrays are directly connected to these transformers, reducing project cost without compromising functionality.

We offer inverter duty transformers with three-winding and five-winding construction specially designed for grid-connected photovoltaic systems. These transformers are customized based on requirements like voltage, power, low losses, sound level, and safety.

The primary voltage is low (380V or 400V), while the secondary medium voltage varies (11kV or 33kV).
